Primary objectives:

·         Support Category sourcing strategy to identify, qualify and develop new Chinese suppliers for ENGIE.

·         Project management and communication with Category managers and suppliers for sourcing activities.

·         Support Sourcing Manager on other investment project sourcing tasks in China when necessary.

Roles and Responsibilities:

l  Responsible for sourcing new Chinese supplier for technical commodity to meet Group procurement demand and manage supplier to deliver required product with good quality, on time and right cost.

l  In charge of supplier sourcing, assessment, procurement follow up, qualification plan, contract negotiation, and logistics management for assigned category.

l  Regularly visit suppliers in China and report project progress to sourcing manager.

l  Communicate with Group procurement team and Chinese suppliers both commercially and technically.

l  Support other investment project sourcing activities in China per instruction from Sourcing Manager.

l  Conduct market study and supplier screening for new categories.

l  Support BU on PO expediting and logistics coordination.

Requirements:

l  Nationality: Chinese

l  University degree of Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

l  Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement and sourcing in Power generation industry.

l  Preferred procurement experience in large scale engineering/construction project.

l  Good technical knowledge in mechanical and electrical equipment.

l  Excellent communication in both English and Chinese, French is a plus.
